Tabletop roleplaying with computers

Many years ago, I got Tabletop Simulator (TTS) in a humble bundle, for essentially nothing.

I played tabletop roleplaying as a kid, I absolutely loved it. Those days are gone now, distant memories, I have wanted to get back to.

Good Game Masters (GM) are hard to come by and me being friend challenged doesn't help the situation. Which brought me to, making a game night remotely with the remote friends I have.

I feel ready to pick up the GM mantle, armed with TTSand by Gemini recommendation Fudge.

Fudge

A delicious treat and a kids replacement of fuck, is a cool set of "rules" as well. I say "rules" because Fudge does it's hardest to make away with rules and make you choose a more "cinematic" style.

What I mean is that Fudge can be played without dice, more like a soap opera, where choices determine outcome instead.

Playing with dice is a simpler system too, with 4d6 acting like +/0/- for very quick roll resolution.

I like the idea of the dice system and I need to try it out.

I never got started with TTS, seemed too complex and cumbersome to bother all those years ago. After watching a few videos, I must say even creating new games seems very easy.

I dislike the mass spam nature of their dlc and giving less of a finished product. The tools and easy asset creation, really makes up for it though.

From what I can see, I could build a game of Fudge in TTS, without touching scripts. The game already supports voice chat, unlimited token bags, counters, character sheets and much more.

So I guess all there is left, is to ask if any geminauts would like to join in for a biweekly game?
